Summer Concert Series August Dates

If you’re going to be at Sea Shells Beach Club between now and September, be sure to check out a show at the Free Summer Concert Series. The historic Bandshell is a very walkable 1.5 miles from the resort.

The tribute concerts are held every Saturday at the oceanfront Bandshell and feature a variety of musical styles including jazz, rock, swing, country, big band, and Latin music.

Shows start around 7 or 7:15. Be sure to stick around for the free fireworks show at 9:45 p.m. Bring along a beach chair or rent one at the facility.

As promised, here are the upcoming August and September dates!

August 5: Gnarlstarz with Relief
Gnarlstarz is a collaboration of artists from several different musical backgrounds and previous projects. Based out of Florida, this combination of talented musicians has come together to form a sound that is all their own.

August 6: Van Halen and Kiss Tribute
1984 the Ultimate Tribute to Van Halen brings Diamond Dave and Van Halen to life again! They’ve got the look, sound, and crazy stage show of Van Halen in its prime. A KISS America show experience is as close to the real thing as possible. Get ready to rock all night with the full show spectacle and the KISS fan favorites you will scream along to.

August 12: KC & The Sunshine Girls
Let Kip Sweeny energize your event and take you back to the ’70s performing as KC of the world famous KC and the Sunshine Band.

August 13: The Who Tribute
The Wholigans capture not only the sound and essence of The Who but visually could easily pass for the original members of The Who.

August 19: Tina Turner and Blues Brothers Tributes
Simply The Best Tina Turner Tribute captures the image, energy, stage presence, legs and voice of this great rock diva. The Blues Brothers Soulband follows with a legit Blues Brothers tribute.

August 20: Simon and Garfunkel/Crosby Stills and Nash Tributes
Get ready for an incredible evening of pristine vocal harmonies and classic unforgettable songs from the 60s as one band performs two tribute shows. It’s not all ballads as they rock through tunes like Woodstock and Suite Judy Blues Eyes.

August 26: Jason Aldean Tribute
Ultimate Aldean Featuring Greg West is a tribute to American country music singer Jason Aldean. Get down home and get down with your favorite Aldean classics.

August 27: Rolling Stones Tribute
The U.S. Stones are the only Rolling Stones Tribute Band to have a young in his prime Mick Jagger clone with all the moves and signature voice. Their Keith Richards is dead on and their Ron Wood gets mobbed because he looks just like the real deal.

September 2: Grunge Lives Nirvana/Stone Temple Pilots/Foo Fighters Tribute
Get your grunge on and remember the 90s fondly with this triple threat tribute show.

September 3: Bruce Springsteen Tribute
The BOSS Project asks “are you born to run?” Head down “Thunder Road” and relive the “Glory Days” with the Boss Project, a spot-on tribute to Bruce himself.

September 10: AC/DC Tribute Highway to Hell
Highway To Hell has traveled internationally and all over the USA to bring their high energy fan friendly AC/DC show to all types of audiences. They play songs spanning the entire 40-year career of AC/DC.

September 17: Pink Floyd Tribute with Wall of Echoes
Wall of Echoes dedication to note for note performance and show authenticity is unparalleled in the south east tribute band market. They even take on ambitious pieces like Sheep and Dogs along with all the hit songs and classics.
