If you’re rabid for racing or just a connoisseur of fine cars, the Ferrari World Finals may tickle your fancy. And for the first time ever, the annual event is being held in North America at the Daytona International Speedway.
Fun fact, Ferrari has a history at Daytona International Speedway in the Rolex 24, the famous 24-hour racing marathon. The manufacturer owns five overall Rolex 24 victories at Daytona, including a 1-2-3 finish in the 1967 event.
Traditionally held in Italy, Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, the Ferrari World Finals will bring together all competitors from the European, North American and Asia Pacific series of the Ferrari Challenge. They will battle for the World Championship in their Ferrari 458 Challenge EVOs on Daytona’s 3.56-mile road course.
Other highlights of the weekend include:
- The display and running of historic Formula 1 cars
- Ferrari’s exclusive XX Program
- Scuderia Ferrari’s Formula 1 show
The show traditionally features the current Formula 1 drivers (Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel) in demonstrations of pit stops, thrilling accelerations and fast laps.
