Cobb Theatres at One Daytona Are the Lap of Luxury

It’s going to be even more of a treat visiting Sea Shells Beach Club as the One Daytona retail plaza across from the Daytona International Speedway starts opening its fantastic spaces to the public.

The Daytona Beach News Journal covered the amenities during a special VIP preview, and the list is long!

The “Awesome”

If you’re willing to pay a little extra, one of the complex’s auditoriums includes special “D-Box MFX” seats with buttons to adjust the intensity of motion. Combined with the latest in Dolby surround sound, it can create a sense of being part of the movie.

You don’t need a movie ticket to eat at the restaurant, Cobbster’s Bar & Grill, and it’s a viable meal option, from bar-type food to fancier fare. Some of the featured items include Monster Nachos, Dynamite Shrimp, Fig & Brie Flatbread, and a Pickle Brined Fried Chicken Sandwich, in addition to pizza, burgers and much more.

If you do want to see a movie while noshing, food from the restaurant can be brought into the theater and can be placed on portable trays that can be set up like a table.

The full bar will quench your thirst with mixed drinks, craft beer, wine, sodas and coffee.

And finally, the theatre is open 7 days a week showing movies from 11 a.m. to 10:40 p.m.

So on the off chance you get a rainy day when you’re visiting Daytona Beach, spend the afternoon in the Cobb Daytona Luxury Theatre for a movie and so much more.

Are you a film fan? What movies are you looking forward to over the holidays?
